Headlight decals for race bikes

Race bodywork has no headlight in it. Bolt a race fairing to a superbike and the front of the bike goes blank - which is why World Superbike has required teams to run headlight decals since 2013, and why every trackday paddock is full of them.

We have been drawing them since that rule came in. Not one generic sticker stretched over everything, but a separate set for every model and every model year - around sixty of them, covering Yamaha, Kawasaki, Ducati, BMW, Honda, Aprilia, Suzuki, MV Agusta and Triumph.

The year is what people get wrong

Manufacturers redraw a nose every few seasons and rarely announce it. The R6 changed in 2017. The ZX-10R has had four different faces since 2011. The ZX-6R changed in 2013, 2019 and again in 2025. A decal from the wrong generation sits at the wrong angle, and on the most recognisable part of the bike that is visible from across the paddock.

Every set starts on an actual machine - photographed, measured, test-fitted, corrected, then cut. It follows the curve of the fairing instead of needing to be trimmed into place.

3M polymeric vinyl under a UV resistant laminate. It survives a hot session, a pressure washer and brake cleaner without lifting or fading, and it goes on without air bubbles. Made in Brno, Czech Republic, shipped worldwide by DHL.

Riders run them in World Superbike, Supersport, the Isle of Man TT, British Superbike, MotoAmerica and a long list of national championships - and on plenty of trackday bikes that never see a grid at all.
