The ZX-6R is one of the most common bikes in Supersport and one of the most common bikes to end up wearing race bodywork. It is also the bike where getting the year wrong bites hardest, because Kawasaki keeps changing the front.

Three faces, three sets
This trips people up constantly. Someone buys a used 2016 decal off a forum, puts it on a 2020 bike and cannot work out why it looks slightly wrong. It is not slightly wrong - it is a different fairing.
If you are not sure which you have, the model year is the fastest way to tell - faster than trying to compare photos of the nose.
The SBK version
This is the Superbike-spec graphic rather than a straight copy of the showroom light. On the 2025 bike that distinction matters more than it used to, because the road bike's light unit is doing more with the surrounding bodywork than the previous generation did.
And the back of the bike
Race tails have the same problem as race noses. There is now a ZX-6R 636 tail light sticker that covers the seat unit from 2013 onwards, including the 2025 bike.
